Native to the tropical regions of Africa the Goliath Beetle is one of the largest insects on earth. Adults range from 5-12cm in length and can lift approximately 850 times their own weight. known for its bold pattern work on the elytra and/or thoracic shield, the black and white markings of the Goliathus Orientalis species in particular was the inspiration for these hand painted Goliath Beetle shoes.
